Have Had Acid Reflux Disease Past 20 Years. Take Prilosec

have had acid reflux disease past 20 years. take Prilosec 40mg am and pm plus a ranitidine am and pm. Will have endoscopy in a few days. Does the surgery tighten up the opening in the diaphragm to prevent the upper stomach from protruding or is there another procedure? Also have ulcerative colitis related to ankylosing spondylitis 45 year duration.
