Hello - Please Excuse Any Spelling Errors As I Try

hello - please excuse any spelling errors as I try to explain - a family member was diagnosed with uterine serous carcinoma. She will be undergoing surgery to stage the cancer. I was wondering where this cancer generally metastasizes to? She has an initial biopsy of the front of the uterus that showed nothing. She had a palup they could not reach and when they later did the dilation and curettage they found the cancer in the palup and I guess in the tissue removed. From a lay person point of view I am thinking if it wasn't in the first biopsy its a good sign its not in cervix and has not moved "down" but I am afraid it may be moving the other way (up) which I would think to some degree is worse. And know there are lymph nodes running all in that area. I am just trying to mentally prepare for what may come so I can help other family members. I have had 2 people close to me die of pancreatic cancer so i want to mentally prepare as I am again like to have to be a voice of reason.
