Hello, I Am 38 Weeks Pregnant And Have A Grade

hello, I am 38 weeks pregnant and have a grade 3 placenta with an amoniotic fluid of 6,7 .. My doctor said she is going to have to schedule a c-section on tuesday because this means the baby will stop receiving the nutrients and feeding properly, besides he is not engaged yet. Is this a reason for a c-section or could I wait longer or do something for natural birth?
