Hello I Got Sunburnt On The Backs Of My Legs

hello I got sunburnt on the backs of my legs 5days ago and went to the hospital with swelling to my legs and ankles, they gave me panadine forte for the pain, antibiotics to prevent infection and told me to take nurofen for the inflammation which I have been for 3 days now. after spending the last 2 days on the couch with my feet elevated they are not any better and still feel a tad warm. what can I do?
