Hello I Was Helping My Husband Remove A Satellite Dish

hello I was helping my husband remove a satellite dish from the house, he was on the ladder and i was below removing clips from the satellite dish wires, well as he was working up top the socket wrench fell out of his and fell across my thumb causing extreme pain. the nail immediately started to turn black and blue it tender to the touch theres still a lot of pain and Advil didn't help much. I can move it however when i bend the thumb it feels tight, it is swollen not a lot just in the area where it hurts sometimes the pain shoots down my thumb into my wrist there is throbbing pain too.
