Hello Sunday Evening ( Now It Is Tuesdays Morning) I

Sunday evening ( now it is Tuesdays morning) I fell and hit the whole left side of my body and my left forehead and the corner of the eye. Quite immediately the corner of my eye swell and started turning redish purple. yesterday my eye lid was dark red but not swollen. Today it´s more purple and the corner of my eye lid ( toward the nose) is swollen and the discoloring is moving under my eye. I was at emergency Sunday evening , even though I did not have loss of conscience , no fainting, memory loss, double vision. They took an regular x-ray. the doctor also said that I need to go back if I get head ache and nauseated . That did not hapeen. Is it normal that so many hours after the hit the purple mark is getting bigger?
