I am 22yrs male currently taking treatment for my pimple scars. i was suggested by a dermatologist to go under 3-4 sessions of dermaroller at an interval of 25-30 days. Is dermaroller treatment helpful for the scars. If yes is it worth for what i pay. when i went to the doctor i had few acne on my face i.e 2-3 acne. So i was given following ointments and tablets to apply on them for a weak and then visit again.
Ointments- 1) Dereva BPO (to apply at night) 2)Benzoyl Peroxide(2.5%)(to apply in morning)
Tablet- AZEE() 500mg) friday saturday sunday for 3 weaks.
After that i have undergone 1 session of dermaroller and i am given T-bact(mupirocin ointment I.P) ointment to apply twice a day for next 5 days.
Will this treatment be helpful to reduce my pimple scars which i have got within last 3-4 years and upto what extend wil they reduce my visible scars.
