Hello Doctor, I Am 38 Years Old And I Did

hello doctor, i am 38 years old and i did diabetic check which shows is 145md/dl.A doctor recommend metmorfin tablets of 1000mg to be taken once daily and this i have been doing.I use accu-chek to check my blood every three to four days daily in order to monitor it and the last i did on friday 22nd january,2016 was 115mg/dl.Now my physcian is now recommending another drug for me to use by the name gavus met to be taking so as to further reduce it. The question now is that should i take it or continue with my metmofin tablets?
