Hello. I Have Been Experiencing Vaginal Bleeding For 8 Days

hello. i have been experiencing vaginal bleeding for 8 days now. not on my period. I'm not sure what it could be. i talked to an obgyn on the phone and she said it could be a misscarriage, but i wasn't pregnant. or i didn't know i was at least if thats what it is. do you think its urgent to go to the hospital. or what should i do ?
