Hello, I Started Having Pain On Wen. As If I

hello, i started having pain on wen. as if i had taken a laxitive, but could not have a bm, the pain continued and rectal blood began, i was admmited into the hospital where after some tests was told i have colitis where the blood flow is limited. what is the cause of this? what can i do to prevent it from happening again?
