Hello, My Nephew Has Been Going Through Depression Issues And

hello, my nephew has been going through depression issues and has been taking medications past month. He seems little better. He is college student. is it good to take courses this semester or better to take a semester off ? Does taking courses makes an extra stress on his brain as he started show some improvement past two weeks?
