Hey, So My Issue Is My Mouth. I Was Told

hey,
so my issue is my mouth. I was told i had HSV1 at an std clinic this summer in the middle of August. This diagnosis was not 100% as the rash was very small and not big enough to be tested, but the doctor told me that was the most likely cause. I've never had cold sores in my life prior, but i was with my boyfirend(and only kiss/sexual partner) and i guess he could have given it to me, even though he is asymptomatic for HSV1. Anyways, i just experienced my second break-out this past week, and i figured it was stress related as ive been dealing with my breakup from mentioned boyfriend and university struggles. BUT i just read about Mango-mouth, an allergic reaction to the resin found in mango skin AND i ate a mango and contacted the skin before this second outbreak occurred...and my first outbreak was also around the time i consumed mango (or atleast i think). Could i have been misdiagnosed? What are the differences i would notice between the two medical conditions?
thank you,
Brianne
