My husband is a heart patient and returned home after being treated for COPD, CHF and water retention. I noticed tonight that he is swelling across his back just above his kindneys/adrenals. He is catherized so he is eliminating fluid. and he is having these shaking spasms. What causes the shaking and swelling?
