Hi, I Am 28 Years Old Married For 2 And

I am 28 years old married for 2 and half years . I last had my periods on 12th august 2014 and till date i am not having my periods . Did pregnancy test but it was negative . I also take thyronorm 100 mcg. I visited a gynecologist she suggested me to go for thyroid , insulin , proclatin, TSH tests to which my results are normal. hence my doctor advised me to take meprate10mg twice daily for 5 days. I am on the 3rds day of consuming meprate but i am still not having my periods . I am really tensed and worried as to what has happened as I planning my first baby. Want to know if there are any side effects of meprate and what possibly can go wrong as i am not having my periods which has never happened before.
