Hi I Am A 46 Yr Old Female 5'3" And

hi I am a 46 yr old female 5'3" and in my early twenties was diagnosed with a small hiatal hernia through a scope done. Not long after, I was diagnosed with inflammation of the hernia thru some abdominal exercise, I remember the pain it caused. Now I am feeling that I might have inflamed it again or is possible it could just be bigger and causing me problems? I'm not suffering from any reflux instead chest area panic attacks/anxiety servere. I have been put on klonapin 3xs daily as the Ativan was not helping at all. I also have diaherra and have lost over 20 lbs. My question here is why am I feeling such severe anxiety/panic with this? I actually feel the hernia location always like its swollen? I have tried even heating pad to relieve the chest anxiety and was hoping to lessen the swollen feeling of the hernia?! I have an apt on the 23rd of this month with a gastro but the wait is so very hard as I just want to feel better and not sick all the time. are the chest/anxiety panic attacks possible from this as everywhere I read on the internet it seems to just go with more acid reflux or gerd? I know my body and know the area that's bothered I just want more info as to why im experiencing such different symptoms than when I had inflamed it before from abdominal excerise the feeling was intense tightness around and under my breast area? Any further info will be of great help as the wait time to see the gastro is causing possible more anxiety? Its hard to deal with this daily and even lost my appetite a lot more.
