hi, I droped block on my leg and injured my ankle and sprained my ligaments, that still hurts, but my question today is the spot where the impact hit my ankle (inner right, literally just above ankle bone) bruised like carpet burn or a knee scrape from falling off a bike, but never broke the skin. and now its swelling and dark in some places, but the spot that was impacted looks like a bullet wound from a movie. doctors and a specialist looked at my exrays and said that theres no major damage that wont heel in 4 more weeks or so, but the wound has turned black and occasionally leaks fluid. its hurts pretty bad, it almost seems like a reverse scab. my theory is that the impact affected the tissue and caused the external skin to die and fall off exposing the flesh and is healing itself painfully slow from the inside out. what can i do for the pain or for the sight of it its so gross. i can send you pictures if it helps.
