Hi, I Had Tonsillitis About 4 Weeks Ago And Was

hi, I had tonsillitis about 4 weeks ago and was feeling little pain in my throat. The pain was severe when i tried to speak loud. I stopped smoking since then (I was a light smoker...2-5 ciggs a day) and have been avoiding smoke since then. Tonsilitis and the throat pain got better in few days. But I had cold 2 days ago and since then I am again having the mild pain when I speak. Sneezing enhancing the pain. As its been more than 4 weeks since I smoked and it was little better in last week, I am worried why the pain is back.
