Hi. I Have Had Problems With Urgent Bowel Movements For

hi. I have had problems with urgent bowel movements for about 20 years but it was manageable. I know that some of it stems from a sensitivity to certain foods and when I limited those foods my digestive issues subsided. In 2008 I had my gallbladder removed. Things didn't change too drastically, I would have loose stools and urgent stools from time to time but nothing taking immodium wouldn't stop. Last year I was diagnosed with anal cancer and had chemo and radiation to treat it. Just prior to the diagnosis and since treatment I've been having more frequent and urgent bowel movements and it seems to be getting worse. It is worse in the morning and lunch time but subsides in the afternoon and evening. I will eat a meal then have sharp pain in my stomach or intestines and have to run to the bathroom. It is getting to the point where I am afraid to leave the house. I have daily meetings and travel for my job and this makes it very difficult to manage. I have researched everything I can to find answers and am at a loss. I don't know if it is a bile absorbtion issue or if the radiation has caused some problems. I am otherwise a very healthy active person.
