Hi I Was Just Recently In The Hospital For Divaticlitis

hi I was just recently in the hospital for divaticlitis and I had a absess now im still on antibiotics and the surgeon told me after my final catscan that I have a large mass in my colon and that he wants a colonoscopy in 2 weeks and that he wants to be there when it is done so he can remove it if he can I live in upstate ny should I go to a hospital in nyc and should I be assuming the worst cause im really scared
