I was recently diagnosed with bigeminy. I noticed on my paperwork from my cardiologists office that I also have a diagnosis of benign hypertention (essential primary hypertension). I told him that my readings at home are always around 117/78 but in his office I was scared and nervous over my new dx and so my reading was 140/90. I had gone to my gyne. and endocrinologists office recently and my pressure was 120/80. Not sure why he diagnosed me with this. What are your thoughts? (I am a white, 47 yr old female).
