Hi, Im A 44 Yr Old Woman, I Am Concerned

hi, Im a 44 yr old woman, I am concerned about my menstrual period, I am still regular like clock work and understand pre-menopause can occur around my age. anyways my concern is, sometimes after period I will spot lightly afterwards for a upto a day sometimes after intercourse, this sometimes will go on for the last couple of weeks before starting new cycle, is it something I should be alarmed about? I also remembering the first day of spotting there was a small clot that looked weird to me. I hope you can give me some advice on what I should do or look out for.
