My Husband is only 27 and he has high blood pressure since 2 years (150/100, 140/90). Recently we did a complete heart screening and he is perfectly normal. Doctor suspects his BP is hereditary(Mother has high BP). Doctor suggested Amlong 5 Mg. Is this tablet having sever side effects? And is there any complete cure for BP? He is too young to start with medication and I am worried about it. I have heard that once medication is started, people cant stop it and get addicted to it. Please advice.
