Hi Doctor, Am 25 Year Old Married To My Lovely

hi doctor, am 25 year old married to my lovely wife of 23 years, my wife had a recurring urinary tract infection, she had received medicine from different doctors she visited but it goes away for sometime and comes back after a while.

But that's not the issue why am here, she was diagnosed with Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), she has irregular periods, gets acne often but not overweight. We have tried to get a baby for a while now but in vain, we have been married for over a year now, (I study abroad so we have spent only 3 or more months together)

The doctor insisted he should perform laparoscopy on her so as to treat the PCOS and said that its the appropriate way of treat it, we visited another gyno and told us the same thing.

So while we were still on the discussion about doing the procedure and trying to collect some funds for it we happened to travel to another country and had an opportunity to see another gyno, to our surprise after doing the scanning and urinal tests, the doctor concluded that she had no PCOS and she is perfectly healthy and able to conceive, it left us confused we went to another doc, he didn't test her but checked the results from the previous doc and concluded the same.

We are now confused we don't know who to believe, is it possible that at some point the PCOS is detected and the other it doesn't? I would really appreciate your response.

Thank you.
