Hi Doctor I Am Getting Married In Less Than 2

hi doctor
i am getting married in less than 2 month and my period will start in the same day of my wedding
till my wedding i will get period in 26 of may and 23 of june and my wedding will be in 24 of june
i went to a doctor and i told him a need pills to get my period before one week of my wedding
the reason of that is in my period i will get extra weight like 2 kilos which is not good for me
so the doctor give me daphne to take it before one month of the wedding for 15 days w and before one week i will get my period
my question is does daphne have side effect like Water locked up in the body and does this pills good like can i get my period before one week
