Hi Doctor,my Grandmother Is 73 Year Old And She Recently

hi doctor,my grandmother is 73 year old and she recently underwent an operation to remove cancerous cells in intestine.she has been taking the tablets andial and vizylac since six months for control of diarrhoea.is it advisable to stop taking the medicines though she hasnt been totally relieved ?or could u suggest any other antibiotic pls??
