Hi I Am 17 Years Old And 5'1 On Height

hi i am 17 years old and 5'1 on height ive been on the depo provera since september of 2015. ever since ive started depo i had spotting of blood once or twice then never had one. during sex i would bleed tho. starting about feburary i started to get this bloody brown discharge that smelt weird and even after i showered the smell was still slightly there. the discharge comes out like a period so i fill it come out of me. what does this mean? can i stop it?
