Hi , I Am 43 Years Old , Have No

hi ,
i am 43 years old , have no children , never been sexually active. i was diagnosed with multiple fibroids 3 years ago.
at the end of last year my periods started getting really erratic with brown spotting in between periods , my doctor suggested it could be the start of menopause.
however two days ago i had really bad cramps a lot of brown discharge and when i wiped there was blood with some clots on the toilet paper. it was only that one time. what could it be? i been reading about degenerating of fibroids but i'm not sure if it is that. thank you.
