Hi, I Am Having Chest Pains In The Middle Of

hi, i am having chest pains in the middle of my chest 2 years ago i was put on heart monitor in hospital to diagnose problem, same problem is bak, he said it was something caused with the letter M, cannot remmebr what it was called, but i know it was caused by stress, i have had a death in the family in the last week do you think this could be anything to do with it, I am also a smoker
