Hi , I Have A 5 Month Old Child Who

hi , i have a 5 month old child who has been diagnosed with intestinal amebiasis . he has been given metronidazole for 10 days but he didnt improve . and when stool examination was repeated he was found positive again so doctor said to repeat metronidazole treatment again . but again he didnt improve. is there any other treatment for this case
