Hi I Have A Menstrual Cycle Length Containing 29 Days

hi i have a menstrual cycle length containing 29 days whn was my ovulation day useful to get pregnant.my doctor suggested me for follicular study but earlier i have done my HSG report was good but m very much fear about hsg whn compared to that m not rady to go for follicular study.can u please suggest me if there is any other methods for tracking ovulation.i knw that there is kits & calender menthods is this helpful really to get pregnant.
