Hi I Have A Swollen Vein That Leads To My

hi i have a swollen vein that leads to my left thumb nail base at the cuticle. the vein is thick and swells on an off and when I press it it disappears for a while. Also the portion of the nail it leads to is indented shped like a perfectly symetrical streak the width of the swollen vein.
