Hi, I Have Been Having Numbness In My Right Thumb

hi,
i have been having numbness in my right thumb constantly for 2 months with neck pain.
i went to a chiropractor for 6 sessions he told me i have compressed disc but i also have leaky gut witch needs to be addressed . i have an appointment with sports medicine doctor.
my question to you is should i also see a neurologist?
the numbness in my thumb which is constant plus i get tingling in my feet
it's very scary
