Hi, I Have Recently Been Prescribed Terbinafine For A Nail

hi, i have recently been prescribed Terbinafine for a nail infection, over the phone my doctor said to make sure to use condoms (i'm on the pill) is there any evidence showing ineffectiveness of the pill due to anti-fungals? or was he just saying this?
