Hi, I Slept With Hairbands On My Wrists For A

hi, i slept with hairbands on my wrists for a whole night on friday and took them off as soon as i woke up but my thumbs and a patch on one of my hands feels numb and tingly, I googled it and it said i had neuropathy and it should get better within 2 months, is it worth me seeing a doctor or will they just give me the same answer
