hi im cathy please help me ,is this curable ,what should i di? does really need to take medicine?! i had ultrasound my thyroid and it come out that my left thyroid has a 1.2 x 0.7 cm hypoechoic nodule in the inferior pole of the left lobe. the rest of the thyroid showed a homogeneous echo patern. the isthmus is not thickened and connects both lobes. the rest of the parathyroid regions are clear impression: consider colloid nodules left lobe as described. the thyroid gland is not enlarged..normal sonogram of the right lobe.. i done my biopsy and its say category is benign and diagnosis is colloid nodule with cystic degeneration microscopic desc: the aspirate taken from the left thyroid mass shows thyroid follicular cells in macrofollicle,groups sheets and single cells in the back ground of modest colliod. the thyrocytes are more uniform with round nuclei and scant to moderate cytoplasm. there are few hemosiderin-laden macrophages seen. no atypical cells are noticed,. my thyroid panel T4 is 102.70 nmol/L Ft3 4.71 pmol/L TSH 1.180 uIU/ml.. some advices i want to heAr..
