Hi My 94 Yr Old Mother Inlaw Has Very Frequent

hi my 94 yr old mother inlaw has very frequent bouts of loose bowel movements and bleeding, she has always taken laxatives, she has swollen legs and feet and is on medication, she takes laxatives when she feels she wants to toilet yet is unable, she has diverticuli, does not eat a lot we encourage fluids the loose bowel can last for days, she lives alone, what can we do to assist, she is very strong minded, she is on a pain patch, fluid tabs, panadol, blood pressure tabs not sure what else thanks we are feeling stressed
