Hi, My Best Friend Since High School After Years Of

hi, my best friend since high school after years of being more than just a social drinker has been sober now for over 2months. She spent the day in the hospital with confusion and was somewhat dehydrated is all they could figure out. She is still confused . Her hands are shaky and is twitching everywhere(or feels like it anyway) they checked everything they could think of from blood sugar, oxygen, to you name it. I was not at the hospital with her so this is second hand information from her sister and bits and pieces from Cindy. She is 61 and has had 2 hip replacements. She has told me that it feels like she is very drunk. She has been taking water pills because of the swelling in her legs but that has been going on at least 5 months. Please if you have any ideas she could really use some help. Thank you, Debbie
