Hi My Doctor Thought I Had A UTI So She

hi my doctor thought i had a UTI so she put me on a medicine for it it has been a couple of weeks i started having pains in my lower stomach and my right side of my back started to hurt then it went away but now my ankles are swollen what could this be ?
