hi my moms has diabetes and the doctor changed her from metformin to januvia reason being he said that it is better and metformin is hard on the liver. i am asking because now that he has changed this he januvia is costing alot more than she can afforf on her fixed income. her insurance covered metformin it does not cover januvia.
