Hi, My Mother Has Lung Disease, Heart Problems And One

hi,
my mother has lung disease, heart problems and one functioning kidney,.
She has been taken off all her medication as she can no longer swallow, and breathing assistance has also been withdrawn as it irritates her comfortability, she has now begun morphine for the pain and is obviously dying slowly,
Will a build up of morphen be able to assist her to the next life.
Please help as the nurses ask her if she is in pain and as she cannot answer for herself i know she would not like to continue life this way
