Hi, My Nine Year Old Son Was Bitten By A

hi, my nine year old son was bitten by a dog yesterday the puncture is on the right ankle on the bone. Took him to the clinic yesterday it was cleaned well and he is on amoxicillin. It is swelling some at this point and we will take him to his pediatrician in the morning. It is hurting him now...should I put heat on it to stimulate the blood flow for the antibiotic or ice to slow the swelling? Thank you
BTW the dog has all the shots etc. no worries there.
