Hi There. I Have Red Coin Like Spots All Over

hi there. i have red coin like spots all over my body.... i was originally diagnosed with ring worm and I have doubts thats what it is-- i took two rounds of flucatazone and spots are still developing. they vary in size and are scaly, red, and some are raised. they only itch every once in a while when they feel dry. I used to have bad eczema under my armpits so I am wondering if this is nummular eczema. I want to start moisturizing and see if that helps... but if its not nummular eczema and its something like pityriasis rosea, would moisturizing make it worse? I have a dermatology appt next wednesday but I am going a little crazy in the meantime...thanks!
