Hi There, Im 42 Yes Old. Had Gottten Pregnant Naturally,

hi there, im 42 yes old. had gottten pregnant naturally, but took 2.5 yrs to get pregnant.i miscarried 2 weeks ago, But just has a d& to finish cleaning me out.
now i have heard sooo many things on internet,
do i have higher fertility right away to get pregnant again? if so for how long? im concerned about loosing my chance if i wait because of my age.
also do docs say to wait 2 periods, so they can date the pregnancy??
or for Good medical reasons?
i would like to try right away and not miss what eggs i got left..
what do you Personally think?
