hihi dr i wanted to find out, if hiv is present in your body lets say maybe 6 months or so and someone have gotten a sore through brushing their tooth like their toothbrush knocks their gums or so will it heal within a period of 3 days to a week?or will it take longer to heal if hiv is present in your body?am not sure if am hiv positive but lately i have felt some different changes in my body and am worried that i could have contracted hiv through unprotected sex with my partner. Example the feeling that my bowels is never fully emptied and i have notice the change of passing stool once a day to 2 times a day sometimes 3 or sometimes one it varies but not more than 3, my stool is somewhat normally formed but not watery or liquid per say. a thin white coating on tongue not thick like that of thrush but its not what i accustom to seeing and a burning sensatiion on tongue moreless to the middle. is this side effects of hiv? since am scared to take a hiv test. no sores is present in mouth .
