Husband Had Bone Infection In Big Toe. Dr Implanted Dissolvable

husband had bone infection in big toe. Dr implanted dissolvable antibiotic beads at surgery with bone cement. He seems to be having an allergic reaction to the beads. Itching all over his body and bad lower back pain. What would be in them and other than Benadryl and Hydrocodone- prescribed by the Dr. What can we do. Back ache is making him very uncomfortable.
