I Accidentally Hit My Right Hand Really Hard March Of

i accidentally hit my right hand really hard March of last year and my joint still hurts till this day on my index finger on my right hand. I also was wearing a ring which made the impact worse. I think i might've fractured my finger or done some kind of damage and i never got it checked out. What could be the problem?
