I Am 35 Female My Menstrual Cycle Is 4 Days

i am 35 female my menstrual cycle is 4 days late i took a hpt on day 1 in the evening and then the next morning they both came back negative, i understand about hcg levels, i read alot anyways this morning i had a little bit of very light spotting and a little cramping i felt awful all day and had a terrible headache all day it is just now easing up should i retest in the morning or wait a few more days????
