I Am 35 Years Old. Single With Dreadlocs. For About5

i am 35 years old. single with dreadlocs. for about5 years i was treating my hair for "off and on dandruff" . I saw another dr last week and was told that i have seborrheic dermatitist. my hair is my beauty and it looks awful. i am wondering if after I've gotten it under control will it grow back? It is truly taking a toll on my confidence.
