I Am A 20 Year Old Male....my Left Eye Is

i am a 20 year old male....my left eye is divergent squint..turning outside......i have had a surgery, surgeon was Dr Prem prakas(renowned squint specialist, aiims) in new delhi,when i was about 4 years old....and i have been prescribed to wear glasses with powers +.1.5 (left) and +.1.0(right) by my doctor ..i have continuously wearing this glass with same numer ever sine then. But now I have been prescribed new number ( +1.0 in left and+ 0.5 in right) with slight squint reappearing......hence my question is...will it be possible to cure it at my age? if so, how? it is effecting my self esteem.....i cannot bear to look people directly in the eye due to this. And where I shoud get this checked now?
