I Am A 78 Yr. Old Male. My Hemoglobin Went

i am a 78 yr. old male. my hemoglobin went down in a month to 8.2 i was on prednisone and zytiga for prostate cancer. my sugar went up to 429. went to emergency room. they brought it down to 119. i'm on metforman now. but my hemoglobin is low. should i go to the emergency room? i'm very weak and tired. my son gives me beet rro juice , blackstrap mollases.
